I sure hope so! It looks like I was able to import my posts from the other blog to here and it kept them in the correct date order!

Merge Ahead!
I've decided to merge Adventures in Weight Loss with my other blog, Random Ramblings. It'll just be easier to maintain 2 instead of 3 (the 3rd is Maple Grove Cemetery. Totally different lines of thought there!!)
I'm going to attempt it tonight, so keep your fingers crossed for me! This is also going to necessitate a name change, so I really hope that doesn't screw up my followers, too!
Now.....to come up with a suitable name....... :D
MIA
Hmmm, that made me think. Why does everyone know what you're talking about if you say someone is AWOL, but they look at you like you're stupid if you say they're UA (Navy term for Unauthorized Absence)?? Thoughts to ponder!
Gosh its been a while. I don't know why this fall has just been super crazy. I still owe a post about going to the orchard! Here's a sneak peek. One of the kids took this right after we got done jumping on the giant inflatable pillows. Me, Mom & the sisters. Yeah, there's no doubt me & Linda are related (lower left)!!

The yard is set up for Halloween & I just started dragging totes into the kitchen last night to root around in them. Put a bunch of stuff aside to donate and another bunch for future Secret Reapers. I'm pretty happy with how things are going. I had last weekend mostly to myself so the dog and I were busy! He followed me back and forth between the garage and the front yard 1000 times and had to inspect everything I put out. I got the spotlights & everything out! Normally I put out things here & there over a couple weeks. Not this year!!
Anyway. I was thinking about consolidating 2 of my blogs. I currently maintain 3 and I've noticed that I tend to repeat myself on this one and Adventures in Weight Loss. The third is Maple Grove Cemetery and yeah, that is its own separate thing. I think this will be a whole lot easier on me and I'll definitely post more often! I just have to research and hopefully make it happen! I just hope since I actually have followers now that I don't screw them up!
Have a wonderful day!

Friend Makin' Monday - Dream Vacation
Well, it's been crazy for the past week or so. I don't know why this fall seems especially crazy. There's something going on every weekend!! Randy was on the go all weekend & Angel was off at a birthday party from about 4 on Saturday afternoon until about 4 on Sunday! Actually, once I dropped the girl off, I was on my own! Woohoo! I totally got my Halloween display mostly set up in the yard.
Another bonus to this is that I was distracted and stayed away from the munchies. So my eating was fairly OK. And I probably made 1000 trips from the garage to the front yard, so I got plenty of exercise, too.
Now it’s time for FMM! If you’ve taken part in FMM then you know the rules. If you’re new, please take a moment to answer this week’s question on your own blog then add your link in the comments section at: www.alltheweigh.com so we can all see your FMM questions and answers.

FMM: Dream Vacation
Oh man. This could potentially be a realllllly looooonnnggggg post!! I'll control myself.
Oh man. This could potentially be a realllllly looooonnnggggg post!! I'll control myself.
I have several dream vacations. One is to visit every state in the US in an RV (except Hawaii, of course. I'd happily fly there!) I want to see all the really big tourist traps. I lived in Washington for 3 years and never really went to Seattle. I only lived like 30 miles away, too! I've lived in Michigan most of my life - I've never been to the UP and I was too young to remember the family trip to Mackinac. So there's lots of stuff to see. I've been to Alaska, but it was July. Altho it was awesome that it never really got dark, but we didn't get to see the Northern Lights.
Another dream trip would be to Europe/UK. There are so many places I want to see over "across the pond". Buckingham Palace. The old castles. I want to be part of the studio audience on Top Gear. I want to drink a pint in a real Irish pub. The Blarney Stone. The Eiffel Tower. I want to drive on the Autobahn. I want to eat pasta & drink wine in Italy. I'm sure there's more if I'd sit & think about it!
What would be your dream vacation?

Fire Up for Fall - week 3
It was a busy weekend! I got almost all of my Halloween display put up in the front yard...I just wish there was such a thing as a multi-arm extension cord. Sort of like an octopus? It would come in handy because I have 3 blowmolds across the front of the house, 1 out in the middle of the yard and the flood lights out by the road. It would be nice to just have one cord instead of 5. But I digress.
I think I did pretty good with my eating. It's pretty late, so I can't even remember what I had, other than apple-cinnamon stuffed pork chops that the hubster & I had for dinner Saturday. Tasty! So I probably did OK. And I had a glass of chocolate wine tonight, mixed with chocolate milk (or I would NOT be coherent right now!!)
Anyhooo.....
Here is my positive pic of the week. One of the kids took this last weekend while we were at the apple orchard. Laurie and I had just come off this giant pillow that you can jump on. It was so much fun!! I guess its positive because it reminds me that the first time I'd gone jumping on this thing, my knees hurt for 3 days afterward. And I got out of breath so quickly that it was embarrassing. However, this time.....I kicked my shoes off and ran - actually RACED - to the pillow and leaped onto it. I ran and jumped and laughed for the entire 7 minutes that we were allowed. It doesn't sound like much, but when you're out there, it feels like forever!! I kept up with my 11 year old nephew, 14 year old daughter & 16 year old niece!
So your questions this week.
1. What have you done this week to help get to your goals? I've been really busy, so it actually helped prevent me from snacking. And keeping busy has kept me moving!
2. What have you done to make yourself feel fabulous? It has to be working on my Halloween stuff. I got several projects done that I've been meaning to do. I love to be creative and its just a huge stress reliever.
3. Where do you see yourself in 5 years? What are your goals? Ambitions? Gosh. This is a tough one. I've prayed for answers to questions like this. I'm sure there's got to be more in store for me than just being Randy's wife or Angela's mom. In 5 years I could still be working in the same dead end job (its family owned so I can't go any higher than I am unless they adopt me!) or if Randy finally gets tired of the assholes at his work and quits - then we could be living in Arkansas (I'm OK with that!!) My goals would be to finally have lost that last 50 lbs, I just hope it doesn't take 5 years to do that!!
4. Give us a tip or a fact. About anything, what is something great you've heard that everyone should know? Before my Dad passed away, he really wanted to see Randy adopt Angela. See, her nickname is Angel and our last name is Love. I can't tell you how many times he cracked himself up, saying she could be a Vegas showgirl and not even need a stage name! Yeah, thanks Dad!
5. Fun Question: What was your most recent dream that you can remember? Another tough one! I don't dream very often. But there have been times where I have dreams that happen years apart, but are of the same location. I've dreamed about a stable where sister Laurie kept her first horse several times. That place was demolished for soccer fields 25 years ago!
Have a great week!
