Angela Bachiller

Ms. Bachiller is the first councilwoman in Spanish history with Down Syndrome to hold office.  She took her Valladolid, Spain office in 2013 at age 30.

She is working towards breaking cliches and to involve people with disabilities in political and social responsibilities.   She has her work cut out for her, since even though she is allowed to hold office, she is not allowed to vote!
